When you register a .BE domain, the registrant must confirm an email from the registry, DNS Belgium, before the registration completes. .BE transfers also work differently from most TLDs: the registry emails the authorization code straight to the registrant.
How do I complete a .BE registration?
After you register a .BE domain, the registrant receives a confirmation email from DNS Belgium. The registration is only completed after the registrant confirms the email.
.BE domains are registered and renewed one year at a time.
How do I change the contact for a .BE domain?
You cannot change the contact for a .BE domain yourself. Changing the registrant requires an additional fee under the registry’s rules. Contact support, and we will make the change for you.
How do I transfer a .BE domain?
Authorization code
A .BE transfer needs an authorization code. When you start the transfer from the domain’s page, the registry emails the code to the current registrant’s email address, so make sure that address is one you can read. The code is made of five groups of three numbers.
