Aldryn Cloud is Divio’s platform for Web Professionals. It provides hosting of django CMS websites. With DNSimple’s one-click DNS services, you can set up the DNS records required by Divio Aldryn.

Setting up at Divio Aldryn

To set up DNS for your custom domain, complete the following steps:

1. Head over to control.aldryn.com, and navigate to the dashboard of your project.
2. Navigate to the Domain Settings section.
3. Add your custom domains (e.g mysite.com and www.mysite.com) by clicking the Add Domain button.
4. Make note of the value of Aldryn Project Domain. You’ll need to provide it when activating the service.

Enabling Divio Aldryn service

From the domain list, click on the domain name you want to update, then click on the DNS tab. Scroll down to locate the One Click Services section, and select “Manage services”.

Select the “Hosting” tab, and scroll down the page until you find the Divio Aldryn service. Click on the Add button.

Enter the Aldryn Project Domain, then click on the Complete Divio Aldryn Setup button.

Now the service is added. You can remove it any time by following the steps in how to remove a service.
