AWS Elastic Beanstalk One-click Service

AWS Elastic Beanstalk deploys and runs applications on AWS. The AWS Elastic Beanstalk one-click service adds an ALIAS record that points the domain apex to your environment’s elasticbeanstalk.com address.

Find your environment’s address

Note your environment’s URL, such as my-env.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com. See AWS’s guide to your environment’s domain name.

Add the AWS Elastic Beanstalk service

To add the AWS Elastic Beanstalk service
  1. From the domain list, click the domain name.
  2. Click the tab on the left side.

  3. In the card, click , or if the domain already has a service.

  4. Click the tab, and click next to AWS Elastic Beanstalk.

  5. In , enter everything before .elasticbeanstalk.com. For my-env.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com, enter my-env.us-east-1.
  6. Click .

Warning

If you terminate the environment, remove the service too. AWS warns that another customer can reuse the environment’s hostname, so a record still pointing to it could send your traffic to them.
