Format One-click Service

Format is an online portfolio platform. The Format one-click service adds a CNAME record that points www to your Format address, and a URL record that redirects the domain apex to www.

Add the domain in Format first

Connect your domain in Format, and note your Format address. See Format’s guide to connecting a custom domain for details.

Add the Format service

To add the Format service
  1. From the domain list, click the domain name.
  2. Click the tab on the left side.

  3. In the card, click , or if the domain already has a service.

  4. Click the tab, and click next to format.

  5. In , enter your Format address. DNSimple adds .format.com.

  6. Click .

The service lists as format, in lowercase, in the app. To remove the service later, see Remove a one-click service.
