Tender One-click Service

Tender Support is a help desk and knowledge base for customer support. To use your own subdomain, such as help.example.com, add a CNAME record for it pointing to ssl.tenderapp.com.

Note

The one-click Tender service points support to tenderapp.com and adds a URL redirect from help to support. Tender’s current guide uses ssl.tenderapp.com, so add the record yourself as described below.

Add the record in DNSimple

To add the Tender record
  1. From the list, click the domain, then click at the top-right.
  2. Click and select .
  3. In , enter the subdomain for your Tender site, such as help.
  4. In , enter ssl.tenderapp.com.
  5. Click .

If you applied the Tender service earlier, remove the service first, which deletes the old records it added.

Set the custom domain in Tender

When the record works, enter the hostname as your custom domain in Tender’s settings. Tender serves the custom domain over plain HTTP until it adds an SSL certificate for it; its guide explains how to ask for one. See Tender’s guide to using a custom domain.
