Registering a .COM.BR domain
Registration of .COM.BR domains requires trustee service. The registry applies eligibility rules for who may hold a .COM.BR name; trustee service satisfies those rules by using a local partner as the legal registrant so you can register and manage the domain without your own Brazilian entity.
Through DNSimple, trustee service is included and applied when you register the domain; you do not need to request it or purchase it separately.
Note
.COM.BR registrations can take up to 3 days to complete.
DNS requirements
Under current rules, a domain registration is only considered valid if at least two DNS servers are authoritatively responding for the domain. The domain must be properly configured to resolve via DNS for the registration to succeed.
