Unsubscribe From Your DNSimple Plan

Unsubscribe when you no longer need an active DNSimple subscription. This stops recurring subscription charges but does not delete your account, domains, or records.
Once you unsubscribe, the card on file will no longer be charged the monthly subscription fee.
Apart from the subscription fee, the following take effect immediately:
- All domains pointing to our name servers stop resolving. Your site will be inaccessible to visitors.
- WHOIS privacy is disabled for all domains registered with DNSimple.
- Any domain in your account that is registered will not renew.
- Email forwarding stops working.
- Any account credit or promotions applied to your account are lost.
Note
This is not an account deletion. If you do not delete your domains from the account, all domains and corresponding records will remain in your account should you choose to reactivate your subscription. To permanently delete yourself as a DNSimple user, see Deleting Yourself as a User.
Unsubscribe from your plan
To unsubscribe from your DNSimple plan
- Choose the relevant account from the account switcher, then click the gear icon ⚙️ next to the account name to open .
- On the left side of the screen, select the tab.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the section.
- Click .

Confirm that you want to unsubscribe by typing your account name:
- Click to complete the process.
