Gigalixir One-click Service

Gigalixir hosts Elixir and Phoenix applications. The Gigalixir one-click service adds an ALIAS record for the domain apex and a CNAME record for www, pointing to the gigalixirdns.com targets for your domain.

Add the domain in Gigalixir first

Add both the apex and www to your app with the Gigalixir command line tool:

gigalixir domains:add example.com
gigalixir domains:add www.example.com

Each target is your domain name followed by .gigalixirdns.com, such as www.example.com.gigalixirdns.com. Gigalixir warns not to use your app’s gigalixirapp.com address. See Gigalixir’s guide to setting up a custom domain.

Add the Gigalixir service

To add the Gigalixir service
  1. From the domain list, click the domain name.
  2. Click the tab on the left side.

  3. In the card, click , or if the domain already has a service.

  4. Click the tab, and click next to Gigalixir.

  5. In , enter the apex target, such as example.com.gigalixirdns.com.
  6. In , enter the www target, such as www.example.com.gigalixirdns.com.

  7. Click .
